The Particular Premiere of a First uses the story of the Big Bang Theory as poetic gesture. The piece pays homage to the desire to create something where there once was nothing. The singularity, a woman’s belly blooming with art and an expanding universe, all explore our most human impulse to invent, create, give birth to what has not yet been imagined.
